A Little About Myself#

I am a Systems Engineer who has done a little bit of everything: Web Development, Robotics, Machine Learning, and Distributed Systems, but I ended up sticking with and appreciating the intricacies of low-level systems and performance analysis.

I did my undergraduate and graduate degree at UC Davis and did my research on topics involving ML in health applications. I did this work under the supervision of Professor Chen Nee Chuah in the RUbiNet Lab.

The purpose of this site is to serve as a log for my recent learnings and personal life events, whether I learned something extremely interesting from an article or paper I read, or I had a really good sandwich that afternoon, I’ll be posting about it on this site. All opinions are my own and are not made in behalf of my current employer or associations. This site is highly influenced by the kind of stuff Lei Mao does on his own blog site, and I would just like to credit him for the inspiration.

My personal interests include hiking in nature, growing my keyboard collection, volleyball, and Pickleball (DUPR: 3.6, Challenge me at your local court! I’ll be there.) I may be posting content on these interests once in a while along with my more technical entries.

I’ve also picked up learning Chinese at my University. I hope to be able to practice it soon whether it be with my Chinese friends and coworkers, or a stranger.
